Kelowna, British Columbia

Having lived in New Zealand, then emigrating to Canada; after several years in Winnipeg I moved to British Columbia  and now love living in the Okanagan.

I am a self directed artist and throughout my lifetime I have had an avid interest in drawing, painting, fibrearts/mixed media.

For some time  my focus was mainly on fibre/mixed media with the Fibre Artist Network (FAN).  Since becoming and Active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (FCA Okanagan) I am happy to be working and playing with acrylic and oil paint.

I have been juried into many shows and have exhibited several times including Canadian Quilters' Association (CQA), Fibre Arts Network (FAN), Lake Country Art Walk (in 2003 I was selected as Viewers Choice),

Living and loving the Okanagan Valley; the natural environment just steps from my home gives me inspiration and the motivation to be creative with mixed media, fibre surface design and painting.  In my paintings I hope to capture imagery of nature and a vignette of moments viewed everyday.

Being creative and loving the process, along with good music, takes me into a very happy place.
